Our History
In 1988, six board-certified, bilingual family physicians founded FCS Medical Group to provide high-quality, culturally responsive care for their neighbors.
Since then, we’ve grown to:
• 4 offices serving diverse Los Angeles-area communities
• 20+ providers and nearly 150 team members
• A residency program training 21 family physicians annually
To meet the changing needs of our patients and healthcare landscape, Family Care Specialists became part of Altais — an organization that shares our mission of supporting independent doctors and the communities they serve.

Our Services
We offer family care in many settings, including clinics, hospitals, and nursing homes. Our services range from annual wellness visits to treatment for common conditions.
To provide the most comprehensive care, we have a geriatrician and licensed mental health counselors. We also host group classes on various health and wellness topics.
Our Providers
Providing exceptional healthcare is our top priority. As a result, all our doctors are board-certified in family medicine.
As for our midlevel practitioners, they maintain certifications with their respective boards.
Our Languages
Family Care Specialists takes pride in offering culturally responsive care. All our doctors and staff are bilingual in English, Spanish, and other languages.
Our practice also provides translators for languages that our staff do not speak.
