Family Care Specialists Medical Group provides comprehensive family medical services in greater Los Angeles (Boyle Heights, Highland Park and Montebello, California). With a focus on the family, the practice caters to individuals of all ages with health care for women, men, and children, as well as geriatric care in four convenient Los Angeles-area offices.

• Languages: Family Care Specialists Medical Group takes pride in offering high-quality, compassionate, and culturally responsive diagnoses and treatments. All of the doctors and staff are bilingual in English and Spanish and other languages. Additionally, the practice provides professional translation services for languages not spoken by our staff.
• Services: As a comprehensive provider of family medical care, Family Care Specialists Medical Group offers care in the clinic, hospital and nursing home. We also offer some availability to a geriatrician, licensed mental health counselors, and group classes.
• Providers: Family Care Specialists makes top-notch medical care its chief priority. All of the doctors hold board certifications in family medicine, while midlevel practitioners maintain certifications with their respective boards. When need the need arises, immediate physician support is available. The practice serves as a training program for medical residents undergoing family medicine training. Dropping Off Forms

Should you require an important document to be completed by your provider, please drop off the form with the front desk or your provider’s Medical Assistant. Allow 7-10 business days for us to complete your form. Someone from our office will contact you once your form is ready to pick up. Prior to dropping off the form, please consider the following:

• • Sign a release form which authorizes your provider to complete the provider’s portion of the document.

There may be a fee associated with your request.  Allow 7-10 business days for us to complete your form.

Forms to drop off:

• • Rx Prescription Assistance Program forms

Request pharmacy refills 7 days prior to your medication refill due dates to assure you are not left without medication. Allow us 48 hours to approve your medication request. Assure that your provider consultations are current in order to avoid having to schedule an appointment prior to the release of a medication refill.

You can call our office for a prescription refill or you can do it through the patient portal.  Another great benefit of using the portal!
